In a bowl, combine 3 tablespoons of custard powder with 20 ml of milk and mix well until a smooth paste is formed. Set this mixture aside.
Pour 480 ml of milk into a saucepan and bring it to a boil over medium heat.
Add 1/4 cup of sugar to the boiling milk and mix well until dissolved.
Gradually add the prepared custard powder and milk mixture to the boiling milk, stirring continuously to prevent lumps.
Cook the custard for 4 minutes, stirring constantly, until it thickens to a creamy consistency.
Remove the custard from heat and allow it to cool completely. Ensure there are no lumps by stirring occasionally as it cools.
Once cooled, add 2 tablespoons of diced red grapes, 2 tablespoons of diced green grapes, 2 tablespoons of diced black grapes, 1/4 cup of diced apple, 3 tablespoons of pomegranate arils, 1 medium diced banana, and 1/4 cup of diced ripe mango to the custard.
Mix all the fruits thoroughly with the custard until well combined.
Refrigerate the fruit custard for at least 2 hours before serving to chill and allow flavors to meld.
