In a large bowl, combine 500 grams of mascarpone cheese, 0.5 cup of granulated sugar, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
Using an electric mixer, beat the mascarpone mixture until smooth. Gradually pour in 1 cup of heavy cream while continuing to beat until the mixture is thick and forms stiff peaks.
Brew 2 cups of strong coffee or espresso and let it cool slightly.
Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the cooled coffee, ensuring it's soaked but not soggy. Arrange a single layer of the dipped ladyfingers at the bottom of a square or rectangular baking dish.
Spread half of the prepared cream mixture evenly over the first layer of ladyfingers.
